Description

pop3 scan uses spamassassin to check for spam. Moving to spamd should improve perfomances and aviod out of memory conditions on certain emails.

Test case

  1. Update package
  2. Check spamd is running (pgrep spamd should return 3 numbers)
  3. Check the spamassassin service in enabled at startup (3:on)
    # chkconfig --list spamassassin
    spamassassin       0:off    1:off    2:on    3:on    4:on    5:on    6:off
