Description

Both clamd and freshclam send messages to syslog and their own log file.

Disable sending the same messages to syslog.

  • Added /etc/clamd.conf template
  • Using default LogSyslog directive value in clamd.conf and freshclam.conf

Test case

After upgrading to modified version:
  • Check /etc/clamd.conf has been expanded and /var/log/messages doesn't receive anymore from clamd and freshclam

Tested with packages nethserver-antivirus-1.0.4-7.0git75c4a2c6.ns6.noarch.

Logging to syslog is disabled:

[root@test t]# grep Syslog /etc/clamd.conf 
# LogSyslog yes                          # reset to clamd default Refs #2109

After clamd restart, no log on /var/log/messages.
