Description

Reproducibility:

  • DNS and DHCP > DNS > "Configure"
  • edit Primary/Secondary DNS IP
  • Save

If nethserver-dnsmasq is not installed an error occurs:

[ERROR] Nethgui\System\NethPlatform: process `nethserver-dnsmasq-save-51a483272a609` on queue `post-process` exited with code 2

nethserver-dnsmasq-save event is missing.

Test case

Prerequisites are NethServer 6.4 beta1 with nethserver-hosts-1.0.3, without nethserver-dnsmasq.

  1. Open server-manager "DNS & DHCP" module
  2. Change primary and/or secondary DNS address in DNS > Configure tab
  3. Save
   # cat /etc/resolv.conf
<your DNS settings>
